Bedroom Painting
Your bedroom should feel calm, not dated. We help you pick a finish that holds up to daily life while still giving the room a fresh, restful feel. Clean lines around trim and closets, no drips on your floors.
Bathroom Painting
Bathrooms take a beating from moisture and steam. We use paints built for high humidity so your walls don’t peel, bubble, or mildew. Tight cut-in work around tile, vanities, and fixtures every time.
Kitchen Painting
Grease, splatters, and constant cleaning wear kitchen walls out fast. We prep and paint with finishes that wipe clean and hold their color, so your kitchen looks fresh longer than a standard wall paint job would.
Living Room Painting
This is the room guests see first. We help you choose a color that fits your furniture and light, then apply it with the kind of clean edges and even coverage that makes a room look finished, not just painted.
Basement Painting
Basements have their own problems: low light, moisture, concrete walls. We know which primers and paints actually work down there, so your finished basement looks as good as the rest of your house.
Home Office Painting
Your workspace affects how you feel all day. We help you land on a color that’s calming without being boring, then deliver clean, professional results that make the room feel intentional, not like an afterthought.
We’re proud members of the BBB, rated Top Rated on HomeAdvisor, named a Top Pro on Thumbtack, and recognized as the Best of SLC 2026 Gold Winner for Best Painter in Salt Lake. We’re also licensed, bonded, and insured, so every interior project comes with real accountability behind it, not just a handshake.
Every wall gets the same prep, paint, and finish work whether it’s one accent wall or the whole house. We don’t cut corners just because a room is small.
We give you a start date and a timeline, and we stick to both. You won’t be left wondering when the crew is coming back.
Your estimate covers paint, prep, and cleanup upfront. The number we quote is the number you pay, no add-ons after the fact.
If something’s not right, we fix it. Every interior project comes with a two-year warranty so you’re covered long after we leave.
We’ll walk through your home, talk through what you’re picturing for each room, and give you a clear quote on the spot. No pressure, no pushy follow-up calls.
The finish only looks as good as the prep underneath it. We protect your floors, fixtures, and cabinets, patch holes and imperfections, and prime where needed before a drop of paint goes on.
Our specialist interior painters apply Sherwin-Williams paint with clean lines and even coverage, the kind of precision that only comes from 25 years of doing this for a living
Before we leave, we walk every room with you to check the work against what you expected. If something’s not right, we fix it before we call the job done.

HQ Painting started with a simple idea: do the work right, and stand by it. The name itself reflects that, HQ stands for High Quality, with a nod to Uriel’s roots in Hidalgo and the Quintero family behind the business.
Uriel spent years as a hands-on painter before launching HQ Painting in 2014, and that background still shows in how particular he is about clean lines, even coverage, and finishes that actually last. Olga joined in 2019 and became the person clients talk to most, walking through estimates, answering questions, and making sure the plan matches what you actually want for your home.
When you hire HQ Painting for your interior, you’re getting a team built around that same standard: painters who show up when they say they will, communicate along the way, and leave your rooms looking the way you pictured them.
Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?
Yes, we ask that you clear furniture and personal items from each room before we start. We protect your floors, fixtures, and cabinets once we’re there, but moving furniture out of the way is on the homeowner’s side.
What kind of paint and finish do you use?
We use Sherwin-Williams paints, chosen based on the room. Bathrooms and kitchens get finishes built to handle moisture and cleaning, while bedrooms and living spaces typically get something that balances durability with a smoother look. We’ll talk through sheen options with you at your estimate so the finish matches how the room actually gets used.
How soon can I use the room after it’s painted?
Most rooms are safe to walk through and use lightly within a few hours, though we recommend waiting 24 hours before hanging anything back on the walls or pushing furniture against them. Full cure time for the paint to reach its final hardness is closer to two to four weeks, so go easy on heavy cleaning or scrubbing during that window.
What if I notice an issue after the project is done?
Every interior project includes our Pride Walkthrough, where we check the work with you before we consider the job finished. If something comes up later, our two-year warranty covers it, just give us a call and we’ll make it right.
What areas of Northern Utah do you serve for interior painting?
We paint homes throughout the Wasatch Front and Back, including Sandy, Holladay, Draper, Park City, South Jordan, Heber, Herriman, Lehi, Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Midway, Alpine, Bountiful, and the surrounding cities. If you’re not sure whether you’re in our service area, just give us a call.
